Screenshot on Amazon Fire tablet: Tablets are meant for using without any difficulty in handling and traveling as in the case of laptops. You can go anywhere keeping your tablet in a sling or side bag, work while keeping it on your palm, chilling while lying on the sofa for browsing the web or scrolling through your social media, photos and so much more. One of the important features for the digital device whether it is a laptop, mobile phone or tablet, is taking 'screenshots', to save the important photos or information for future reference or for the purpose of sharing. And if you are using Amazon Fire Tablet, it won't be easy to grasp how to take a screenshot on your device.

If you are an iOS user then taking a screenshot on Amazon Fire tablet can be a little tricky for you. However, for the Android users, there isn't much difference. But don't worry! It is not that difficult to take a screenshot on your Amazon Fire Tablet. Android users are accustomed to taking screenshots in a different way, one that does not need the use of the home button. For navigating, Android phones generally use three virtual keys along the bottom of the screen. Amazon's Fire tablets, which run Android software, just like any Android device, you need to use the physical keys on your device to capture your screenshot.

1. First, open the app or webpage that you would like to take the screenshot of.

2. Press the bottom volume button along with the power button simultaneously, otherwise either one function with the button will perform.

3. While pressing both the keys simultaneously, a camera or chime sound will be played along with the screen flash, which will confirm that your screenshot is captured.

4. As you must have seen in your Android devices, a preview of the screenshot will appear on the top right corner of your screen followed by an animation pushing the image to the particular location. You can click on the small preview to open the full image.

Also, when you slide down the notification bar, you will see the confirmation message that your screenshot is captured. It will also give you the option to share your image directly to different apps when you click on the ‘Share’ option below the notification preview image of the screenshot. If you want to edit the image, you can simply edit it while opening the screenshot in your gallery or any other editing app. Your screenshot will be simply saved to your gallery.
